From the 6th – 13th of November, 2016, TLOO partnered with three of season 10’s Australia’s Next Top Models to bring you stories of mental health. The aim was to help de-stigmatize mental ill-health, and promote a more vulnerable community more willing to share thoughts and feelings. The stories shared by the next top models teach us how to better empathise, validate, and transform our stories of mental ill-health into stories of triumph.
Vitoria was born and raised in Brazil and moved to Australia when she was 18. Vitoria is passionate about the mental health space and aspires to be a mental health advocate. She recently transformed her Instagram account to promote more about her thoughts and feelings.
Before applying for Australia’s Next Top Model Kassidy was working as a support worker for kids with special needs. She wants to be Australia’s Next Top Model so she can follow her dreams and if she doesn’t become a model she will like to pursue a career as a history teacher
Daisy lives her life by the quote “When you hit rock bottom, there’s nowhere to go but up”. Daisy describes herself as a goofy comedian and attended acting school last year. Check out her youtube channel at Daisy Davies.
